Last week my boyfriend and I took a short trip over to Norway, not your typical sunny getaway but a beautiful winter wonderland nevertheless. Though undoubtedly stunning, it was icy cold so I was grateful to have picked up some cozy clobber on Black Friday.
The sun sets in the afternoon over in Oslo so we decided to watch the darkness descend on the water. Arriving at Tingvalla quay at Aker Brygge we grabbed a quick coffee from Espresso House to warm up then hopped on local ferry 601 over to Nesoddtangen.
The journey was a short twenty minutes; as the light began to disappear the temperature dropped, however the views were so stunning that I was willing to freeze rather than go back inside.
Only hopping off for a quick exploration, we got back to Oslo just in time to watch the last glimmers of pink light leave the sky.
