Favourites is a new series where I am going to share 5 things that I love. These posts will include: London, travel, fashion and beauty, but since there are so many bloggers who inspire me daily I thought I would start by sharing some of my current favourites. I read a huge variety of blogs but personal style posts were my introduction to the blogging world so it seemed like a natural place to start.
I don’t like putting people into niches and all of the blogs I follow have their own unique personalities which are shown through a variety of skills, so don’t just stop here mesmerised by the pretty pictures give their blogs a proper scroll through.
Leanne was one of the first bloggers I found and made me think I could start my own space online. Her fashion style is effortlessly cool giving off what I can only describe as grungy witch vibes. Each photo shoot is perfectly styled and her wishlists make my bank balance cry. Thunder and Threads has been going strong for 8 years and is still one of the blogs that I return to frequently for inspiration.
Is a completely unique alternative style diary inspired by a mix of street style, pop-punk and a sprinkling of Japanese influence. Jess’ outfits are always unique and exciting, yet entirely wearable. She totally inspires me to think outside the style box. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Jess at London Edge last year and had an awesome day exploring new trends and alternative styles together. If you are looking to branch out and make brave style choices in 2017, Jess is your girl.
An alternative blog with a dark side. Darcie’s style is all black but far from dull, finding a way to pair goth outfits in an everyday effortless way. Also, having a wardrobe made up of almost all black myself, I love seeing how Darcie styles her outfits to make black stand out.
The queen of cool casual style, I have loved following Lucy’s style journey as well as her move to London over the past year. Lucy has such an awesome way of pairing outfits – mixing sportswear, grunge and glamour in her own unique way. Though each outfit stands alone she maintains a style story that brings them together to be distinctly hers.
Peaches is a blogger I only found at the end of 2016 but instantly fell in love with. Her style has 90’s vibes thrown in with a rock edge and, as she’s a photographer, her pictures are always perfection.
Which fashion bloggers are you loving right now?
