48 Hours in Zaragoza, Spain

I have a confession to make, despite Zaragoza being the 5th largest city in Spain I had never heard of this laid back gem until our friend Dave made the move there a few years ago. The city is conveniently located between Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia and Toulouse, so after spending two days with my family in Spain’s capital we made the easy, high speed, train trip to pay him a visit.

This was once again a trip where I wanted to concentrate on spending time with the people I was with rather than trying to pack in too much. However the picturesque city had a lot on offer; situated on the banks of River Ebro, we toured the local park, historical sights, and some incredible tapas bars.

If you like this snippet of Zaragoza I will be sharing some of my holiday snaps next week.

Do you have any lesser known places that you think I should add to my never ending travel bucket list?
