My June beauty favourites has expanded and instead of just sharing my hits I am also going to talk through the products I have been trialling and updating you on the beauty bits I have previously mentioned to give a full review, rather than just the highlights.
I first discovered these brushes back at Bloggers Festival and, after being gifted an angled eyeliner brush, I fell in love.
Initially I intended to just buy a brush to contour my nose, however, after seeing their full range at IMATs I couldn’t resist buying the full set – and I do not regret it for a second.
The brushes are soft but hold product well and feel hard wearing. This is a brand that prides itself in using synthetic high quality bristles which are vegan, cruelty free and supported by PETA.
Though one of YSL’s best selling foundations I hated the old formula, however this new version is one of my new favourite base products.
Touche Éclat Le Teint now has more coverage and stays put all day; though I have to build it up to cover my broken out skin it does not cake and feels weightless on my face. The formula also has light-reflecting particles which adds a subtle glow to the skin making the skin look radiant.
It is not just the formula and packaging that has been updated but there are now 22 shades to choose from, making it suitable for most skin tones.
This product is a little harder in texture than the mascara that I usually go for, but the formula creates volume and keeps those lashes in place all day.
This is now my go to for a more extreme look when I can’t be bothered applying lashes and, despite drying pretty hard, it does not crumble under pressure.
Debenhams have started doing £9 sample sizes of these if you want to try this without fully committing.
This is not a new item in many people’s skin care routine but it is one of my first ever Kiehls purchases and, if all the results are like these, it will not be my last.
If you watch my YouTube channel you will know I have had issues with my eyes pretty much all year: they have been puffy and dry, that was until this pot of magic came into my beauty routine.
It is creamy, gentle and super moisturising helping my poor puffy eyes out just in time for hay-fever season starting.
This month was my birthday and also IMATs so I got a little spendy and picked up more products than usual. First up is the Zoeva Mixed Metals palette; this was one that I simply could not leave on the shelves with such a stunning range of colours.
I also had to pop into Boots and, of course, could not swing by without making a few purchases at the new NYX stand. Since it is summer I decided to go bright with Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Amethyst, Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Violet, Color Mascara in Mint Julep and, to make sure everything stays smoothly in place, Angel Veil Primer.
This months update is a little smaller than I plan it to be in the future, but I am sharing my thoughts on the L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation which featured as a favourite in my May drugstore post.

I would love to know what you think about this new format and also what you have been buying this month.
