My hair is bleached, dyed, and only gets cut once a year – so needs a lot of love. These are my current favourites to give my locks a spring in their step (not even sorry about it);
Yes to Carrots Scalp Relief Shampoo
Made with carrots and packed with natural anti-oxidants this shampoo cleanses without being harsh and leaves my hair feeling nourished. My scalp and I have battled to find a balance between clearing buildup without stripping my coloured hair, and this shampoo seems to have it all. My hair feels super clean without being dried out. The scent is sweet without being overpowering with the mix of carrot and Almond Oil. This shampoo is also free from lots of nasties with it being 95% natural, free from parabens, and Phthalates.
Yes to Coconut Ultra Moisture Conditioner
I have never been one to conform so when there was no Carrot conditioner I wasn’t concerned and went for my favourite hair hero coconut oil. Home bleaching has left my hair drier than the Sahara, but because I only wash my hair a couple of times a week max I can’t use anything to heavy or I end up looking like I have dipped my head in a frier by the end of the day. This conditioner is ultra moisturising but does not weigh down my hair, leaving it both soft and volumous.
I feel like every blogger has written about the amazing uses of coconut oil, so I don’t want to bore you, but this is one of my staple products for adding moisture into my hair in every season – and it’s budget friendly too.
Bleach Reincarnation Mask
This mask really brings my hair back to life when it’s at its driest. It not only adds moisture without clogging up hair but also only takes five minutes – which is a God send when you are as busy as I am.
Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo
This was a new Lush product that I picked up for our America trip as it was the perfect size for use on the road. I am used to an aerosol dry shampoo but this talc formula did a great job in sucking up excess oil without leaving behind residue, and the grapefruit leaves a lovely light, fresh, citrus smell.
So, there you have it, my spring hair heroes. Are there any Cruelty Free hair products that you recommend I check out?
