I’m Emma an artist, founder of Wayward and author of this blog.  

I spend most of my days working from my Edinburgh studio at Coburg House in Leith, creating art prints and greetings cards. When I am not drawing or walking my dog – Harley a very active border collie I love exploring new places.

This blog is a space to share my discoveries.

I have always been passionate about supporting independent businesses but after starting my own and realising how hard it is I’ve become borderline obsessed. I share that passion here with you!

Expect to find posts raving about my favourite places, to eat, drink, shop and visit. Mainly my ramblings are how to visit Edinburgh like a local because that is where I am currently based, however I also LOVE to travel.

From short city breaks to months in our self converted campervan discovering new places lights me up so I also write about what I come across on our travels.
